Abled Kids is a resource and support site designed to provide families
with information, curriculum resources, and tools to help you teach
your bright child with learning issues at home. You'll find information
about reading disabilities, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, Central
Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), ADD, ADHD, homeschool curriculum
recommendations, tools for teaching and learning, and a whole lot
more.
If you want
help, support, or need some direction, please join
our Yahoo! group! We have great parents who are home schooling
children with specific learning disabilities, can relate to the
challenges you face, and can help direct you to resources to help
you overcome your child's struggles. We have a nice mix of people
who can relate to almost any specific learning disability you are
dealing with.
As you explore,
your main navigational aide is the "Site
Index". From any page, you can click on it to see a full
menu. To get started, it will be helpful to understand the definition
of a Specific
Learning Disability.
