home schooling children with Specific Learning Disabilities Articles needed:

If you know a lot about a specific learning disability, teaching a specific subject, or a particular aspect of home schooling, I am interested in adding content to the Learning Abled Kids' website [ http://www.learningabledkids.com/ ]. The content is designed to benefit families who are home schooling children with Specific Learning Disabities.

This is not a paying publication, but your article would be placed on the website with a "By" line, and a link to any personal website you may have, as long as it is a "family friendly" website.

Articles should be 500-1200 words in length (loosely defined), and cover a narrowly focused topic in depth. Please send your article via email along with information about what qualifies you to write about the specific topic. Articles which do not follow requested guidelines, including qualification information, will be rejected.

Please don't be intimidated by the 'qualifications' requirement--articles by moms who have simply "been there" can be as valuable as those by recognized professionals. I welcome articles from anyone who can convey their thoughts well in writing, has an ability to write a focused piece, has personal experience with the topic she is writing about, and who is sharing information about a needed topic. If you plan to submit an article, be certain to visit the website FIRST to insure your writing is on target for the website content.

Learning Abled Kids reserves the right to edit any articles in content, style, and format to suit the Learning Abled Kids' website. I also reserve the right to graciously decline publication of any article, for any reason. Since this is not a paying market, it is only an exposure opportunity which gives you bragging rights to say you're published on our website and a place to hang your byline ;-) .

If you want to help families home schooling intelligent children with learning disabilities by sharing what you know--please send us your articles! ;-) You can send articles for consideration to: dyslexiaparent -AT- Yahoo.com.

Best Wishes and thanks SO much for considering this opportunity,
Sandy Cook, Editor and Owner
